Cat Plate Installation (Talons Garage)

Hey all, I'm installing a talon's garage cat plate on my 2022 TRD off road. I was wondering what the size of the bolts are for the transfer case brace and the OEM skid plate? From what I can tell, the transfer case brace are 12mm. And what drill bit will I need to screw them back in?

Hey thanks for the link! Are the bolts the same regardless of the TRD pro skid plate? My offroad does not have that.

 

Yes
You will either reuse skid bolts or new ones are provided.
Im pretty sire there is an install link on their website.
Im an 08 and reused bolts.

 

I installed the Talon shield on my 22 TRD OR... black powder coated steel which is really robust, doubles as a transmission plate and really intimidating for anyone who wants to attempt to steal the cats. Went with SS hardware - M8*1.25 50mm (10) and M8*1.25 20 mm (4), M8 (14) washers and nylon insert lock nut (4). Shipped fast, packed well and quality/ fit is great.
