It all depends on how much damage you are willing to put up with. Just saying... ;)

They had it for a day and did $5k in damage to my truck. Glass wasn’t installed right, dented the cab, scratched up the paint down to the metal in multiple places, broke all the plastics they touched. Their insurance paid for it but my truck was 6 months old and spent 10 days in the shops for all new plastics, paint and replacing the window.. again.

oh they also broke the glass when the removed it and the glass pieces were all over. They didn’t bother to clean them up.

notice the gap between the window and cab.. dunno how that would ever leave the shop.

Oh I also dropped this off at their shop for the replacement so it could be done inside.. it wasn’t one of the mobile units.

    Looks like a great time.
Question for the group. Does the adage of putting the word "Anal" ahead of the RV name apply to pop ups as well? :D

Anal Eagle has a nice sound to it.

How did you get that middle photo of the deck on my house?

Yeah, my building inspector neighbor says it's very bad juju to attach support beams to post just on the face. He said either notch it in or attach on top of the post. Oh and never just nail it! No wonder it felt a bit bouncy.

As a full time prescription eyeglass wearer I am a big fan of Croakies when in the kayak. I actually keep an old pair of prescription sunglasses in the truck for that purpose.
That way if it all goes sideways I can hopefully still drive home.

    Lol!

I could call it the "Ass Eagle". :D

You'd think I would have learned after the first set took a swim about 3 years ago. I actually tried some sort of retaining device when I bought the next pair, but I didn't like it so I decided that I would just use junky sunglasses for river shenanigans. And then I forgot about that idea and here I am.

Haha! I'll never understand why anyone would want low profile mud tires.

My cross-member took a hit in Moab. The exhaust would rattle on it under acceleration. Nothing that grinder and black paint couldn't fix.

My wife is real good at making things fit. I always tell her that she can put 10lbs of shit into a 5lb bag.

That screams more than Carolina Squat. I just can't say them. There's children present.

I can confirm. You have that one guy that was interviewed on Tacomabeast YouTube video that complained about them to thank.

I was there last October, quite an amazing park. Lots of stairs on that hike but worth it!

I also have a nack for fitting large things into small areas. Some things we just learn out of necessity. ;)

Of course, I'm referring to my experience loading airplane bellies at UPS. :anonymous:

Is is Cascade River, by chance? I'm looking for destinations for solo trips, and this looks awesome!
