You are correct, went to order my danger ranger raptor on Saturday. As they slid over the order sheet, btw 15k mark up. I walked what a joke. Put in a deposit for a 24 pro at msrp in writing with longo.

My 1978 Toyota Hilux was $4000. Man, that was a lot of money!

I put a deposit down yesterday and the salesman assured me I would be paying MSRP. Time will tell though. I have no trouble walking away and going back to GM if they get greedy.

I have a feeling these trucks are going to cost a lot more than people are ready for. Even at MSRP there is going to be sticker shock. Toyota doesn’t give 2 shits about Ford and GM. They never have and never will compete with them price wise.

Yeah I agree and a lot of people must have money trees growing in their yard. Seems most don’t care how much a new vehicle cost.

To me it would look something like this. I think the PRO and Trailhunter could see a 15% instead of 10% from 2023 prices

If that’s the formula you’re using I would also add another 10 percent across the board on top of that if you want the hybrid engine over the non hybrid engine.

I added 8% for the IFORCE MAX which is about the same that is added on the Tundra (I know the prerunner and the SR will not come with the IFORCE MAX option, not quite sure about the SR5)

Still questioning that the Trailhunter base is priced above the TRD Pro base (The front seat tech in the Pro alone makes me think this). Maybe with every accessory tacked on the Trailhunter.

I believe those seats are optional and the base Pro wouldn’t have them.

I’ll never understand why people get so excited to jump from one car payment to the next.

Cant wait to see the outrage when the 5-15k markup is added due to “supply chain issues”

The cost of the limited up $10k? I understand that all the time 4wd is some extra tooling but I hope its not that much of a jump.

Dealer greed is about to get a reality check. Markups, pushing the envelope with MSRP. Many have huge inventory they are not selling. Dealers are going to take it in the tailpipe very soon. Pun intended.

They only do it because people are willing to pay it. Our culture of needing the nicest stuff whether we can afford it or not is the genesis here.
