I currently have an SR/SR5 trim Tacoma and I would like to get Side Mirror Turn Signal Lights. I've done some research on this forum and I saw some older posts where some people have tried creating their own at-home DIY 'make-shift' adapter or wiring harness but it ended up being too costly or require too much effort to develop.

Does anyone know if there is an updated harness available or am I completely doomed from getting signal lights on my side mirrors?

    I haven't seen a harness.

DYI it is all I've seen.

Damn, yeah that's what I'm seeing too. Thanks a lot for confirming! Guess I'm stuck being "Basic" :bananadead:

Eh the mirror lights aren’t hardly noticeable anyways.

Huh? They're very bright, if looking at them from the rear or sides where they're intended to be seen.

We’ll agree to disagree. I don’t think they’re bad, just so slim and dim. I’ve seen better. Again not bad, but damn sure wouldn’t go through the hassle to wire em.

I know @caribe makaira has a way to grab them from the combination meter. That’s located behind the gauges. I think a tee can be made for it? If not, you can grab the signal from under the hood, in the fuse box.

The brightness is all at the end, not meant to be bright along the length. They're not meant to be seen from the front at all since anyone in front of you can see the front main signals. That's not always the case with the rear and people in your blind spot which is what the mirror signals are for. Otherwise, without them, nobody has any idea you're coming over at all. A lot of people call them dim but they are pretty much universally looking at them from in front. YouTube people "upgrading" to Meso V5 or whatever else is on the market are notorious for this.

I’m aware of their intended use and have seen them in use on other Tacomas. I’ll leave it there, no need for the back n forth in this thread, doesn’t sound like OP is interested in wiring.

That is correct, I'm in search for a plug-and-play wiring harness or adapter to eliminate the need of tapping into wires.

@caribe makaira solution can be made pretty easy. He might even know what to do with it when you get up to the mirrors themselves? That part is something I need to look into myself.
As to having it made for you, if you can't find a source, hit me up in a few weeks. Still recovering from shoulder surgery, so I am not able to make anything yet. But I plan on doing this as well, so I do need to figure out the mirror connection at some point

@Tacoma_SR5Pro I ordered a few connectors from China. By the time they arrive, I will hopefully be healed enough to do something with them. I can make up a tee harness for you if you want to be my guinea pig? Should be able to make it go all the way to the mirrors, but I might need a picture of your mirror connector?

Has anyone had any luck with trying to figure out if the TRD mirrors will fit the SR
