Added a flared mag well to my 19 last night. Like the grip a lot now.

Heads up, PSA just dropped the micro dagger mags that are 15 round capacity. I just ordered some for my 43x. Might be sold out now.

Yep, no need for a metal mag catch. Can pop in an OEM mag if need be!

Another step closer. Still need a 2.5 moa SRO, a trigger connector, and a Safariland 6354

I should also add…i found out why the previous owner got rid of this 34 with such a low round count. He said when he first shot it, the mos plate flew off. Then he got a trijicon rmr for it, and that flew off in only a couple shots.

when i first shot it, i didnt touch it. Just wiped it out, dropped in some lube and dumped a mag. Guess what, the freakin plate flew off. Found it and the screws. Torqued it down with some blue loctite and have not had an issue since.

I must ask of you optic knowledge folks, when I do buy a SRO, should I use the factory mos plate or buy an aftermarket one? I’d prefer not to have a $500 optic turn into a projectile

Sweet. I saw if you order an RMR from Trex Arms, they send their own plate with it. I was leaning towards that route before I started asking people. I appreciate it

I don't see that mentioned on their site...and don't see any info on their plate...maybe I missed it

Either way I'd lean C&H, with FCD 2nd over Glock factory plates

With that being said, the majority of people don't need the upgraded plates as long as the mount screws are properly torqued

I’m still learning. And i’d like to not increase the height over bore too much if i can avoid it. One of my primary loves for me glocks is how low the bore axis is compared to other pistols.

here is the “sealing plate” that comes with rmr orders: https://www.trex-arms.com/store/Trijicon-RMR-Mount-Sealing-Plate/

TheEotech is installed on my 17 with the MOS plate and I haven’t had any issues granted I’ve only put 3-400 rounds through it after install

But a mounting plate fulfills that purpose as well?

sounds like a mounting plate is a precision upgrade while a sealing plate is a longevity necessity. Correct?

EDIT: just saw this on their website:

Needless to say, I went a bit nuts when I moved from California to Washington last year... Had the Glock 17 Gen.3 but the 43x is the newer one after I 'officially' became a resident (live in the state more than 90 days)

Now I just need to go out and plink and take classes for the 43x to comfortably conceal carry.
