Is there a way to have the interior lights at full brightness during the day when the headlights are on? I like to drive with them on, not just DRL's. but in the day when the head lights are on the lights around the monitor are dim and the rear camera is super dim when in reverse.

I have them turned to "full brightness" using the knob by the speedo but its obviously NOT at full because when I switch to the DRL it gets brighter.

the monitor is controlled by MMI screen. go to "apps" "settings" I think, "display" and toggle "daylight mode". I'm always toggling through this when it's raining. I wish there was a simpler, 1 touch way but there isn't. It's in the manual as well if my directions are off. anyway, it's where the radio/nav thingy is.

as best I can tell, that just controls the display, not the camera brightness or the "menu" buttons. and then in DRL mode, the dash lights are just off.

Turn your lights on. Go to settings and then turn the brightness all the way up. That function works according to where you have the headlight switch. (on/off)

With the lights on, the settings are set to a night mode and it dims the monitor that OP is talking about. with the light on, you can go to settings and select day mode and it gets it up to the same brightness as with lights turned off.

This. Turn the headlights on, go to settings, display, and click "Day Mode". You also can adjust the brightness of the other display and gauge lights by turning the mileage reset knob on the dash.

during the day: turn your headlights on, press home on your entune screen, top right corner of the screen click the gear looking button and on the bottom of that screen press the daylight mode: on

adjust your brightness through your settings.

In the state I live in,if it's daytime, raining & you need to turn your wipers on,it's a law you've got to turn your headlights on. So then I've got to go into the settings & tick on the daylight display box. Seems like a safety issue to me to be fiddling around with the settings while driving, turning on headlights & wipers and oh,avoiding other vehicles on the road. Why can't they tie it to the light sensor on the dash?? Seems safer and definitely easier.

I currently just running my 23 on auto. But during the day my instrument cluster lights are out. I would love to have these on during the day while my lights are on “ auto “
