Was just an estimate. I like "Detroit Rock City."

Just talking shit, though. I have a buddy who likes Kiss, but rips on the Eagles. :der:

Went to the local welding supply store (Airgas) to get a 80CF bottle of C25 for the welder. I haven't bought any welding gas in years but it was 200% more then last time I bought. Holy crap! Feel like I got hosed. Unfortunately there are no other supply houses close.

    - End of rant....

I haven't been high enough to enjoy a Kiss song. I can tolerate them, but if I'm in charge of the music, any of their songs is an instant skip.

Looks like I'll be going through a rite of passage on the 80 soon - aka rebuilding the knuckles. Probably replace the bearings and seals on the rear axle too.

It'll be the most extensive service I've ever personally attempted on a vehicle, but it'll be good to learn how to do.

It's not hard just pull wheel, brakes and hub assembly ( which you can purchase all together ) or you can do separately way easier just to purchase hub with seals and bearing . Now if you do inner seal that's a little more work but not that hard. Good luck !

I gues I'm half cool  started with the flip sets for lug nuts and now I have the 8-24mm set. And all the extensions, universal joint, and adapters. So .75 cool? o_O

You're 100% cool in my book! Love my new anytime camera setup. Did the Kwik Trip car wash today and it was fun to switch on the front and back cameras and watch the sprayers.

Also, going highway speed with the front camera on looks like I'm playing Gran Tourismo going 150 in a McLaren. Love it!

    Reported for Tacoma beast decal.

Seriously though that is cool for the long travel bois. Also shows the front heavy weight distribution.

Try buying for a welding program that has no budget... need 8 100% Argon, 8 75/25, 6 oxygen and 6 acetylene (the big ones all...) just to get started in the fall. Then there is the .035 wire, 6011, 6013, 6010, 7018 and consumable parts for 13 welders... Then we need 5000 lbs of coupons in 1/8", 3/16" and 1/4" as well as several sheets of 16 ga steel. They haven't given me any "more" money in the past ten years but the costs have tripled...

Let me know if you want any assistance. Granted I’ve never done that but I have rebuilt plenty of industrial gearboxes over the years.
