Im good with the true fur lock covers but with the extra steps to unlock I may get a pair just for the back door and leave the sides alone/covers only

 

I thought about this as well, but wonder how easy would it be to swap the lock cylinders or re-key to match?

 

And these can be swapped into the location for the original latches? (if so - when will these be available?
(Or are these on the new Gen Caps only?)

 

Yes they can be swapped into the original location. I was told July available in 2 pack or 6 pack.

Please tell me RSI has some sort of plan in place to take a large amount of orders? Have they disclosed if they're ready or planning a waved released system for people you have applied for the warranty replacement?

I have a complete rear door new in the box with glass for an RSI 3rd gen. Sold my Tacoma so no need for it. They are just over $650 plus shipping from RSI. Make me a reasonable offer. Located near Tulsa, OK.

Would you guys recommend bed stiffeners when running this cap? I won't be putting a RTT on it anytime soon or doing any crazy off-roading, but I do a fair amount of driving on the beach at least a few times per week during fishing season.
