Any tips on how to fix this

    Backing up on a shitting rainy night and tapped the tree already ordered new tail light and tail gate works fine

    I’m not a body guy at all.
    And sometimes, my ideas are not good ideas.

    But I’d remove the tail light, take a 1x4/2x4 on the outside then use a set of welding vice grips and “press” the dent out from the inside out. I actually have no idea if this is even a viable option. But it an idea. I’m sure there are better ways, and probably better tools. But I don’t have better tools, and can’t think of a better way (right now).

    Again, I’m not a body.

    Small lift, slightly oversized tires, well...
    Cut the tree down.

    Short of talking to a body shop, I've got nothing. Metal is kinked, so it's not a simple push it out from the back.
