I wanted a third brake lamp for my Softopper, something small, bright and with quality. I think I have figured out a good combination of parts and figured I would share.

First was the lamp. The internet is a vast wasteland of mediocre products and LED lamps are some of the worst. Garbage everywhere, until I stumbled on VLED products. I ordered up thier 6" exterior light bar in red. This thing is tiny, well build and bright. ( https://www.vleds.com/wpb-r.html )
Next I had to mount it some how. My solution is a piece of aluminum shaped to the light with 2 ears and double sided velcro.

I sewed the velcro around the bracket that I made, then 2 side taped the light to the bracket. The velcro holds the lamp and bracket in place between the topper rear panel velcro.

Next was wiring. I ordered an extension cable for the light from VLED ( 10 footer ) , a Deutsch bulkhead connector and a stop lamp breakout harness from FBC ( https://fbchs.square.site/product/t...true&sa=false&sbp=false&q=false&category_id=6 )

I mounted the bulkhead connector in the left side storage bin ( I finally have a use for the bin! ). Then terminated the wiring to the FBC harness and plugged that into the left taillamp harness. The VLED harness I ran from the third brake lamp along the topper support frame down to the storage pocket. This will allow the lamp to stay with the top and be easily disconnected when I remove it.
    And the final result...

A big thanks to @daveeasa and the guys at VLED for making great products.
