Good point. My "like" about the post was about the grill trim paint job. I have the silver strip too and keep thinking about painting it. The paint job in the post came out great. That's what my "like" was about. Obviously not about the hood trim.

it's irritating, but not world ending. it's still a truck, and still gets used. can't use a vehicle without it getting damaged. in the pic, you can just make out some of it, i dabbed some touchup paint in the worst of it. the rest i can hide with some creative buffing work later.

most importantly, the hood is still straight,it was only the paint that got scratched off

I just added moderately priced seat covers and a tailgate seal, hoping it will keep some dust out of the bed. That's assuming it ever stops raining here and I can actually go out on a trail.

    Tailgate seal: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00IPQWXZQ
Seat covers (I got them comp): https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0C2BTG3HP . They are a far cry from the Clazzios I've seen pics of; probably about the same as the Luckyman ones. Front seat quite nice; back seat will protect the main surfaces but don't wrap around fully.

Did a few more power steering drain, fill, and drives. Also cleaned my MAF sensor and the throttle body. The throttle body looked spotless but the filthy rag said otherwise. Glad I decided to do it. The idle was instantly calmer. 20230604_111955.jpg

Installed my Diode Dynamics Elite series fogs. Love that they basically look OEM, and I can't wait to see how they look tonight.

Who piggybacked the reservoir like that? The 5160's come with a mount that clamps them to the frame rail....at least they used to. Cycle the rear suspension with a floor jack until you are against the bump stop and see what it looks like. It looks like the reservoir is not hanging lower than the shock body, and completely bottomed out, I have about 1'' of shock shaft left, so you are probably fine. I can see your concern though, rotate the reservoir so it is toward the back of the truck?

One of my right rear shock's resi clamps broke on the trail. Removed the resi bracket to clean up the area and replace the clamp. There is no rust on the frame, but a lot of dirt buildup from the Fluid Film sprayed during the original install 4 years ago:

The local hardware stores don't carry the #36 (46-70mm) clamp. I used #48 (65-89mm) stainless clamps and trimmed the excess. Installed with Cosmoline:
