Waiting for Bedside panel for 8 months!

Hello TacomaWorld,
I had a minor accident back in October 2022 requiring a new bedside panel (6550004902), tail lamp assembly, rear bumper and a few other related parts. I've been waiting for the panel since October and it seems nobody has one. I asked my shop if they could repair the existing panel but they say it would be a "better job" to put in a new one.

I still love the truck, and want to fix it especially since I am thinking about the Gen. 4 sometime early next year. (trade in value) Any guidance on finding this part or should I just have the panel repaired?
