My steering wheel is slightly off center and when I go over bumps the wheel jerks. I’ve already replaced to steering rack bushings with the whiteline ones and torqued the front end suspension and steering components and checked for play in the tie rods, LCA and ball joints. I took a look at the intermediate shaft and it has play in it but I’m not sure how much is too much. This is the video I took of the play in the upper intermediate shaft

Anyone have and issue similar to what I’m experiencing? I read about the zip tie mod but I would rather replace the whole thing instead of fixing it temporarily

This. I have been chasing steering issues on my '13 Tacoma for a bit now too. Did the lower intermediate shaft and welded the upper (had tried the zip tie method but the weld method really helped stiffen things up). Still have the bump steering issue above about 40MPH.

What size tires and load range are you running? My steering wheel is also off centered since replacing the lower steering shaft. And I know the body mount bushings are bad on mine, haven't gotten around to replacing yet.
