I was sitting in traffic today with my 2017 TRD today when my SRS light came on. Once I got home I checked the codes with a good scanner I found this code still present even after key cycle. Pass seat malfunction while sitting in a rain storm. I did hit the seat back with a gym bag (not that hard) while stopped and I guess that had something to do with it. Any ideas? BTW I'm a tech, just not a Toyota tech. Thanks20230605_175422.jpg

Recalibration maybe? Been a bit since I last worked on Toyota's, but I do recall recalibrating these sensors pretty frequently for this code. It required Toyota's Techstream software and a pre-defined amount of weight to complete the recalibration process.

    Thanks,

Yes it looks like thats what it needs. I guess when I hit the seat back the sensors got pissed off. Thanks again.

Got it taken care of. Found a local guy with a scanner with the SRS recalibration capabilities.
