Maybe a dumb question, but would this Caliraised product fit on my 2nd gen? This is listed for 2016-2022 models.. I don't understand why it wouldn't work for my 05. I thought the frames were basically unchanged. The price is more appealing than miller cat or other products.

Maybe a different exhaust layout for the 3.5L?

Doing my best with the pics on the cali raised vs millercat shield i really think It will work. I might risk it and give it a shot. At the very least, it is close enough that I could make it work

Have you tried asking Caliraised? Seems like they'd be in the best position to answer your question...

I just did and they confirmed there is a difference that won't allow them to fit. Still not sure if i will risk it with Caliraised, blow the bank on Miller cat, or put in the work to fabricate a shield. I feel like the Miller cat design would be fairly easy to replicate more or less, since it is basically just a skid plate lol.

I would pony up and buy the millercat. Bending thick gauge SS isn't easy. Let alone, drilling holes and making sure everything lined up. Cost of materials is probably $100-$150. Unless you're good at TIG welding and want to spend that kind of time cutting individual plates. Your cats will be stolen before you get them done. LoL.

Pretty sure 3rd Gen exhaust fits on 2nd gens with very little modifications.
