    This.

I believe the guards are designed to be compression fitted. I imagine they use a specific tool. Maybe try bending them closed a bit more with your fingers and then tapping them on.

I ordered them from Mcgregor Toyota parts online.

the TSI says you get one shot putting these on. I did manage to get mine on. Door 1 was my first attempt. Didn’t have a plastic dead blow mallet. Tried to bump it on with my palm. Got a mallet. Doors 2-3-4 when on as per instructions. I slightly compress with rubber covered pliers door 1 and it tapped in place. All is good now.

Door edge protects little, except the door edge of those who open their doors on other obstacles...

I installed my door edge guards a week ago. Same Amazon type rubber coated with bendable metal inside. Mine are holding up fine and installed pretty easily. One thing I did notice is areas where the one side of the door may have bulges or uneven/not flat spots may cause the edge guard to come off or not seat properly. I avoided those areas and just tried to get the most problematic points where I know I or the kids will hit when opening the doors.

I did not seal the top or bottom of the doors. Just the side edges. I started out by pushing in the first couple of inches with my thumb, then I used a rubber mallet to lightly tap into place. You could use a heat gun if the one you purchased has harder plastic material but the thing that holds it on the door is the metal and it’s thin. I wouldn’t suggest hearing it up too much as it may warp it.

    Good luck brother.

Yep. If it catch it on the right day the discount is great. It varies daily. I bought all my oem accessories from them. Mud guards, bed mat, door edge guards, tail gate insert, bed light kit
