Another quick question for yall. How often are yall applying 303? After every wash?

 

Exterior wise? just depends on how hard the sun be hitting ya stuff. I didnt really need to reapply it much, probs every 4-6 weeks. Less often when the temps drop.

Depends on the amount of UV and if you park inside or out. I apply as needed. I am freaky about keeping my stuff clean.

 

Same. I run a tight ship and park outside. Usually means I stay pretty busy with the cleaning.

 

I will say I have noticed this product lasts a while, and moreover seems to penetrate the plastic to a certain degree.

Another amazing product is some old school stuff called Cover-All. Sold at Oreileys.

Posted this in the GX thread but I'll post it here as well. Expedition Essentials mic mount on a Ram Ball. Still in the original bag and brand new. $20 and you pay for the ride.

 

Had an afternoon to get the GMRS installed. I had a

$165 MXT275 MicroMobile® GMRS Radio – 15 watts Two-Way Radio with Integrated Control Microphone – Overland Caravanning Tractors – Detachable External Magnetic Mount Antenna - 8 Repeater Channels

MXT275 in my 16' and liked enough to go back to it.

Straightforward install with the 3db gain Ghost antenna. Mic mount is the Expedition Essentials mount on the Ohana Rig Supply setup.

 

Had some time this afternoon to get the ARB diff breather kit installed. Yea I know it's overpriced, but idgaf I had it on my tacoma and it seems like a quality piece. Besides, it's a f'n Lexus.



When I removed the old "breather" an audible "Pshhhhhh" was heard. No doubt it was plugged and the diff/axle was building pressure. I'm just thankful the diff seals didn't give out and start leaking.



New push connect fitting at rear axle.



Ran the breather line along the passenger side behind the heat shield for the exhaust and zip tying along the way. Up to the passenger side of the engine bay and mounted the manifold on the fire wall. And of course of a few cold beers were consumed during this process.





Another project out of the way.

 

I need to get over there for a mod day soon! Beers and wrenching sounds good right now.
