They did! As well as the performance. I can’t find it again but I saw a YouTube video where they were comparing the new Prius to an 80’s Trans Am and a Corvette. The TA barely beat it in a quarter mile drag race. The ‘Vette smoked it.
The Prius beat them both in handling on the slalom course.

 

I think I mentioned it before, but for as heavy as it is, I'm very impressed with how quick my wife's Hybrid Highlander is, so I can completely believe it.

If it’s the ‘80’s T/A with the 301 turbo then absolutely. Test drove one & total let down. 80’s cars were a bad dream.

90’s weren’t much better. I had a ‘94 TA with the 305. It looked great but was no where near a “muscle car”

It's not fun. If you can take ibuprofen or something low dose throughout the day I find that it helps keep the headaches to a minimum. But man when it hits you in the beginning I'm like FML. Firefighters that deal with this stuff just deserve so much respect.

 

In Japan they have lots of aftermarket kits. And they’re starting to prefer them for drift cars. Not much of anything available here yet. Not even floor mats.
