I've seen a few folks ask but no concrete answers..

Does someone make a T-Harness for the Gen 3 Cigarette Lighter wiring harness
Links of knowledge of the connector used if I want to make my own?

    Thanks!

Most people just use an AAF at the fuse panel, or a t-tap. What's the project?

A bit more juice for a small board computer a USB plug can't handle that is tucked away into the dash.

I'm not to fond of AAF and do not want a semi-permanent solution like a t-tap.

I looked at FBC @daveeasa and did not see anything. I used his harness for the DRL function of some Dynamic Diode lights and it was a super clean and reversible solution.

How much juice? If you're talking more than 5A/60w, I would personally run a new circuit from the battery and relayed to the outlet.

Good luck, what you're wanting is kind of a niche application. Nobody sells a p&p harness for it, as far as I know.

50 watts max at 12V is the current estimate. Thanks for the feedback.

If your OR doesn't have a sliding roof, that circuit is available without running wire from cab to battery. One crimped terminal to a 14 or16 awg wire inserted into the empty slot of connector IN1. (Located behind Driver's Sail Panel.)

I used this plug and play harness to add a 12V outlet in the cab (I put mine on the back of the center console) that links to the factory inverter and switch. This functions just like the bed outlet, except the harness also enables access to the full 400W output without interruption from the truck being in motion.

The lower tech solution I use in my work truck is a $40 inverter I plug into the 12V / cigarette lighter which then has a 12V outlet I can hook my computer charger to. Not the exact one, but something similar to this: https://www.amazon.com/GEARGO-Inver...mzn1.fos.006c50ae-5d4c-4777-9bc0-4513d670b6bc

Hmm... Would this be an unused connector in the dash and simply sticking in a fuse? Thanks!

Is ihat correct about the 12V or 120V with the in-motion-harness? If so, that would be the most direct approach to 12V with the bonus of a constant 400W. On rare occasions, my kido needs more juice for the school laptop after meets.

I'm not seeing anything obvious where to tap the in-motion-harness for the 12V.

That's my idea, made by another and copied/sold without credit.
It intercepts the wires that output 120v AC and place a 4runner type AC outlet. Also modifies the input wires to the inverter to provide 400w (3.3 amps) vs 100w once vehicle is in motion.

Nice! I vaguely remember having to add a terminal to an existing connector when I added Toyota cruise control to my Gen 1 Tacoma.

The Gen 1 was bare bones and my saving grace after the mistake of buying and unloading a 3.0 Flex Fuel Danger Ranger at a significant loss that was pinging itself to an early death that Ford could/would not sort out.

    Нет, это напрямую к аккумулятору.

Ouch... I've never had a product idea stolen, but did have a boss who attempted to hijack a work patent and remove me.... Fortunately, they canned him; I got a $1 for the effort to keep the patent Lawyer happy.
