2005-2015 SAfTCap Rear Frame Section Set

I have the two part set for the rear most part of the 2005-20105 Tacoma frame rails. These can be welded in place over the existing frame or welded in place of the factory frame. These fit from the rear leaf mounting shackle back to the bumper. All holes are pre-drilled for the bumper, hitch, etc. I bought them after my Taco was rear ended and the rear frame was bent. The body shop ended up being able to heat and bend the factory frame back into place. These can be used for accident damage or rusting of the frame.

Our TAC-234 was designed to cap the rear end of the frame starting half way through the spare tire cross member and extending 24.25″ to the rear end of the frame. To install you will need to remove the rear bumper brackets from the frame and remove the rear leaf spring hangers by cutting/drilling out the rivets, then re-install the spring hangers after the TAC-234 is welded to the frame.

Our TAC-234 Rear Frame Sections can be used to cap over the original frame or can also be used to replace the rear frame end.

The TAC-234 has holes cut into it for installing the leaf spring hangers, and also bolting on the rear bumper. We’ve provided hardware to replace the rivets that are cut off the frame to re-install the rear leaf spring hangers. Each 234 comes with 4 x 7/16″-14 x 1 1/2″ gr 8 HCS and flanged nuts.

Our TAC-234 is made from only American 11ga steel and is CNC cut and formed by our AWS certified welders.
