5.29 gears in rear, Magnuson supercharger Tow package, Winch, Lights out the wazoo
Taco is out fitted with Supercharger, High Performance Transmission (John from ITP in NJ) , 5.29 gears in rear. Tire size 33s

Is there a tune to get my Tacoma to exceed over 85 mph?

I will be placing on Dyno soon after trans install completion and short travel test.

Yes you can fix it with a tune. It's caused by the gears.

So you redline (ecu fuel cut) in high gear at less than 85?

Is your speedo GPS verified? Bigger tires change things

I have a 2017 SR5 4x4 Automatic with stock gearing, 3" lift 31.7" tires and front air dam still in place . The truck has 40 K miles on it. On a recent trip with no appreciable wind, the truck did 90 + mph with no trouble, passing a couple of semis and a car on a long straight stretch. It was measured by GPS also. Speedo correction with the 31.7" tires is about 2 mph at 70 mph. Previously the vehicle had 32.7" tires on it. I never measured it for speed but there was one very noticeable detail. When I switched from 32.7 x 11.5" to 31.7" x 11.5" tires, the fuel mileage changed from 12 mpg to 19 mpg. The tire change was the only change I made.
