I really love the purple color of that frame

Wait didn't you just get that bike and you're already talking about the next one? Why Yeti?

It's a social thing. Everyone assumes he's a dentist, when he's really just a world renown guy for being pretty decent at riding bikes. :D

Don’t sweat it bro, I’m just nagging you. Yeti bikes are flippin sweet. I don’t know what voodoo the SI system employs, but it’s phenomenal.

BUT, the Yeti badge does come with a stigma. Honestly though in recent years the pricing from many other brands have crept to and exceeded Yeti tier.

i ride flats and rarely wear knee pads. dont even have shin guards.

knee pads come out for bike park days. i got some ion ones that zip on and off. ill probably use those a bit this summer. i just attach them to my hip pack on the pedal and strap them on for the downs.

do longer socks count as shin guards?

I wear these for more aggressive trails If I know itll be a prolonged downhill. But If there's nothing intimidating on that trail as in I can clear everything without full focus and messing around a bit I don't bother. Theyre not awful to pedal in but they pinch the back of my leg a little bit but any sleeve style will in my limited experience. Def saved me multiple times though. sliced into one of the little sections hard enough that I imagine my meniscus wouldve just severed on that rock
