Do people buy the air dams?

Any other aftermarket styles available to swap out? Looked for one on Extreme Terrain and Tacoma Lifestyle but didn't find any, just the stock looking replacement part.

 

The worst is when you see them on lifted ones

 

I traded my air dam for a case of Yuengling Beer.
I felt like I stole the beer!!!!

 

Thats being real hard up to steal a case of yuengling.

 

Still got mine in the garage attic...can't justify in recycling it...rather give it to someone lol

 

I'm thinking about extending my air dam with another air dam to gain another 2 MPG on the highway.

 

i left mine on and won $100 on a scratcher. YMMV

 

I swear, the most sensetive ears and asses can be found on TW. Feeling the difference, hearing it too, you folks need to find jobs similar to super tasters and people that do smell work for perfume companies.

I never even got to see mine. Dealer took it off when they did the lift and tires.

For when you want to type softer, decrease font size.

 

List it with the part number. Some dude doing crash repair might bite.

Or store it and sell it together with your bumper, when you upgrade that too.

 

i left mine on. i like the look plus as someone mentioned, the high(er) performance sport model benefits from it. with the AC and MT, it's mandatory to keep the truck planted. UFB performance! 0-60 times under 5 seconds and 12 second 1/4 mile.

i don't off road but for those that do, it won't last long and i understand why you would remove it.

 

Every Tacoma I've had I've removed and threw away. Decided to do this to this one - I kinda like it but not sure.

 

According to my calculations if I remove my air dam I will have to pay an extra $500 dollars per 100,000 miles. This assumes $4 gas and about a one half mpg loss without it.

 

Chop it off as soon as you buy it,
like our folks did at birth with our foreskins.
