Anyone have pictures of 30 vs 35 percent tint on the two front passenger windows of their Tacoma? Want to see how it matches and what people think of seeing at night.

If this helps, I had 35% on another vehicle years ago to stay compliant with local law, what a waste of money. IMO, if you’re not using at least a 20% or lower it’s not worth tinting the front wdws. I have 20% on the fronts of my Tacoma now and you can tell it’s tinted from the outside and there is a difference looking out from the inside but nothing that you can’t get used to.
    Hope this helps, good luck

    How old are you?
Older you get, the more light you need. Mine's 35% and looks fine. I'm 60 yo tho.

35%. Get good quality ceramic, it looks much better. It won't match but it close. its not worth it to deal with the inspection people in my state getting 20% and I'm not photophobic. Lol.

35 would probably look better if the windshield was also tinted even 70%

that looks nice at that angle! I hear ceramic is the way to go and helps you see better than other types of tint. Do you have any directly looking at the side?

15% ceramic in SW Florida. Blocks a ton of heat. Happy I replaced the crap from the dealership.

LLumar ATC 30. A little bit lighter than the rear factory glass. It's fine at night.

Rear side windows are 27% from the factory so you will want to get as close to that as you can. Spend the extra on a good ceramic like Xpel or LLumar

Ignore the cargo box on 2x4's I was trying to mock it up to see if I want a tonneau cover with racks or topper.

All of my windows were 5%, but HI wouldn't pass it for safety inspection. So I had to get the fronts removed. After I brought it back to CA, I put 20% on the fronts. The 5% was a little tough at night, but I've had no problems at all at night with the 20%

30% 3M ceramic front, 70% windshield. I’m happy with it.
