    Hey Y'all,

Was working on swapping serpentine belts on my 03 3.4 and managed to sheer the tensioning bolts on both the power stearing pump mount and the idler pulley.

Ive managed to remove the tensioning "assembly" on the power stearing pump, and I am curious if there is a replacement for it that I can swap in? Perhaps this? Alternatively if I can extract whats left of the bolt does the replacemenmt need to be anything special or just match thread pitch and length?

Similarly, I'm curious if there is a way to remove the idler pulley stud before I resort to the grinder? I'll swap the pulley, and this seems to be what I am looking for, but missing the tensioning bolt. Again does the replacement bolt need to be anything special?

    Cheers!

Remains to be seen I bought the tires and wheels the rest came along
    M8 x 1.25 thread fully threaded .

I find it quick to make my own using M8 x1.25 all thread and weld a nut on the end.

The idler pulley stud I think is all one machined part I would need to look be 100 % sure .

with the nut removed it comes out the back of the pulley . Your favorite flavor of penetrating chemical works wonders.

Never seize is your friend when assembling things.

    good luck.

Thanks for the bolt specs I’ll have to see what I can find in town as things open up.

So the lock nut came off idler pulley no problem. That stud should just slide out now? Found this diagram but wondering if the component with the green arrow is threaded onto the stud or if that’s just a sleeve?

It should just be a bushing and with a little help slide right off . It holds the pulley while allowing the bearing to spin.

At least every one I have had apart. Things do change sometimes .

Are there machined flat spots to put a wrench on to hold things in place.
