It was on my truck for 13 months and only maybe 3k miles of use. The truck was only 23 months old, and had 5,600 total miles. Uptop uses all stainless hardware, and aluminum spacers zero rust to have.

How noisy, and how much of a fuel hit did this make? Mine is already pretty thirsty....lol

isn't noisy at all. Uptop built it with that in mind. Fuel I didn't notice any change. My tires and lift I noticed a change, but not the rack.

Awesome. Good to know. My cap has tracks, but, by the time I set up a thule or Yakima, I'll be more than a full print, Up-Top etc.

I'd be all over this except the light bar. Even then, you're only about 4 hours from me....

You could sell the light bar, and then use that cash to buy just the front fairing with no cutout from Uptop. They sell that just by itself if that's the deal breaker.

Could you put a cargo box on this as is, or would you need to add raised cross bars? It seems like the fairing/light bar would prevent you from attaching at least the Yakima style mounting hardware.

I don't believe it would be any issue. I can check with uptop but it's pretty level. If you look at the side view of my truck you can see it's mostly flush.

The picture of the rack itself off the truck what you might be seeing is the light bar that's right behind the fairing. That's not a crossbar if that's what your looking at in the photo.

I think the issue might be if the top of the fairing is even with the front crossbar, you might not be able to get the clamps on the bottom of the cargo box under that cross bar. On the Yakima, you have to have the clamp in front of the crossbar and below it, then slide the box back so the clamp is under the crossbar. The fairing looks like it might prevent the clamp from getting below the crossbar, if that makes sense. I think with the fairing off probably not an issue. Can you change the spacing on the other crossbars?

Oh OK got you, would you be able to move it so that it's behind the fairing and attached at the first crossbar? Yes most of them are movable, the fairing can be interchanged. The crossbars can also be mounted horizontal and vertical
