Glad you’re ok! Deer are the worst, saw a few dead ones on my ride this morning.

@BkerChuck I tried out the grip puppies and they do help quite a bit

Good deal! Probably the least expensive option too.

Definitely agree. Full fairings, clip-ons, and the CP3 sounds perfect

There's such a thing as liking looking at your bike too much and riding it not enough and a fella oughta be aware of it.

Going to look at this tomorrow. 1986 Toyota 22r 4speed manual with AC. Looks super clean all original 225000 miles. Should make a good motorcycle hauler to take the r3 to the track. IMG_3625.jpg

I’m all fairness, I was waiting all day for my new suspension to show up today so I could install and go for a test ride. It’s lost in transit at the moment. I even washed my bike and charged my Bluetooth and everything.

I know. The bench seat is perfect, the only thing is a cracked dash but that can be covered.

Hand is probably 90% now if not higher. I have full mobility, but the lingering nerve damage is nutty. Thumb is usually numb, but if I bump into something just right it sends a shock halfway up my forearm- sort of like hitting your funny bone. I’ve also been getting these odd cramps if I make a fist or use pliers too long. I’ve gone on short putts around town and been fine but I’d imagine on long ride it might cause an issue only because it’s my throttle hand. I talked to a buddy that had an injury where he lost half a finger a couple years ago and he mentioned that the weird nerve issues don’t really go away, they might be less frequent but never fully gone.

I bought my truck with 150k miles and the paint was cooked. Bench seat was also literally cooked, looked like it had been on fire.

I am excited to check it out tomorrow. He is asking $6500 which I looked up and it was MSRP back in 1986!! Crazy but still a good deal if the frame is clean and the body is rust free!! The 22r is a real good engine without all the electronics and shit like that. Real simple to work on. I have owned a 1982, 1984, two 1985s one a 4x4 fuel injected, a 1986 4x4 a 1990 2wd V6 manual long bed, 1999 2wd extra cab 4cyl 5speed , 2000 4x4 reg cab 4cyl 5 speed and the 2022 TRD off-road. My favorite out of them all?? Probably the 85 extra cab 4cyl 5speed FI with straight front axel.

We are in New Hampton NH. Apparently its bike week in Laconia NH so almost all campsites and hotels are full. We snagged a campsite at $65/night. Friend is living large in a single person tent

After breakfast we are heading to Mount Washington. It's about 75 miles from us. And then most likely Augusta, to find lodging. We have been doing 300+ mile days (all backroads, no highways) and we are beat. Props to the iron butt riders here.

No one is waving at us. But then we see 2 Africa Twins. Finally got a wave

Its a nice assed day for some riding. Sounds like yall are gonna be a bit north of us.
    Mini Sturgis this weekend, yup.
Did Laconia back in ‘05. Watched a drunkard knock two bikes over falling backwards and trying to catch himself, not long after watched some ‘rival’ getting his mc stolen by a handful of hells angels so that was fun. Bunch of us noped tf out of there.
