Yea so I tore shit apart.



Half ass repainted the grill sections.


now to assemble and weld together tomorrow..
Took me an hour with a heat gun to melt and straighten the section tabs to get it pulled apart..

 

Since I have everything torn apart I figured I’d run the headlamps again..



Let the lamps shake and settle and do a final adjustment.
Need another can of paint. The etching on the top was severe and didn’t smooth out enough.
Didn’t want to sand to plastic as I don’t have plastic primer..
So another few coats tomorrow and assemble Tuesday….

 

Well, I didn't race the Tacoma today but I did dual drive a friends Miata. Beat him by a little over half a second in his own car and won the class overall.

Is the ball covered in white stuff? = snowstorm
Is the ball missing? = it's a nor'easter get inside!

The classic weather forecasting instruments in Montana and Wyoming include a chain below the wind sock, and as I recall, your hat works, too. I thought the ball of yarn might contain a radar deflector, foil chaff or something to confuse speed radar...

 

Due to a few days of really bad (cold, rain & wind) weather, I added a couple days to my trip and got home yesterday. Fishing was slow, but still good to get away.
