Has anyone tried to seal up the tailgate on the 3rd gen to keep out mosquitoes? I just spent a night in a seriously buggy area and was getting quite a few inside the canopy.

I attached a few (mediocre) photos showing the openings that I'm suspecting are letting in the bulk of them. I tried stuffing the openings with socks, but they still found their way in.

NO! deet and bug repellent can and will act like paint stripper, and ruin plastics, rubber, seals etc... never ever do that on a vehicle. Ski
