    I bought oem Roof Rack, I'm planning to install the Roof Rack this weekend, My question is , what type of silicone can i use that don't damage the paint? I was thinking on permatex clear silicone .

    you dont need specialty stuff... just run to the hardware store and get a bottle of clear silicone.

    Any high quality outdoor rated silicone will do. Personally, I went with clear.

    I used a old bottle of white window and door silicone that was in my basement.
