The mileage will not transfer over it is stored in the chip on the ODO, with the new cluster, you will assume that milage

They are plug an play but mileage is stored in the cluster so it will be whatever the replacement cluster has on it.
You will need a cluster from a truck with the same engine and transmission, 09-11 should be the same. 05-11 may be the same but I'm not 100% sure on that, I know 12-15s are different.
Why are you replacing the cluster?

Ah there are companies out there that repair/refurbish them if you want to keep your original mileage.

I suppose you could but you have to get the needles back in the right spot or they won't read correctly.

When you remove the old cluster put a piece of tape to mark the location of the needle. Mark it with a marker. When you go to plug the cluster back in, it will reset the needles. Unplug it and then plug it back in. I just replaced all the leds on mine.
