Currently in Death Valley and randomly have service up on a mountian. This is my hard shell iKamper on a long bed voodoo rack with my short bed truck

I like this setup but how is the cab interference with the Ikamper whenever you get bed flex?

Dang. I guess the overhand wouldn’t be that bad. I’m just petty about the added time for a regular RTT.

 

Is that a 10" or 14" rack?

 

That's the 18" with tonneau brackets.

 

So I lifted the tent 1/2” off the rack, but after the crap I went over it needs another 1/2” or so. It hit the shark fin a little. No damage just annoying.

 

Ok good to know. Couldn't tell from the picture. Whole reason for being above the bed for me is to cut down on drag. With that 18" it looks just as high as the cab.
