IMG_4572.jpg Tire shop said it was too big to patch.

Stock 2021 Limited, 18” wheels, 265/60/R18 tires. Not planning to get new wheels yet, maybe in a couple years and I’ll do some minor suspension upgrades along with it.

For now this is a daily driver that’ll see beach trips to Padre Island once or twice a year and hopefully some light off-roading if we make any other big roadtrips.

I’ve looked into tires a little but there are a lot of options out there. Any suggestions?

Toyo ATIII are good all round tires. I’d stay with the SL rating to keep weight down for the best mpg They should have fixed that tire, middle of tread and just a staple

I went to the one right by my house, but yeah, I think a second opinion is needed.

If you have a Discount Tire in the area, I highly recommend a drive there

Patching might not work, but plugging might.

@TroubleKnoxx from the looks of the picture, you have a Michelin Defender LTX M/S. That is a great all around tire. If the tire shop has not broken the tire down to see how much damage is inside the tire, I would get that second opinion. If we can be of any help, don't hesitate to reach out. We are here to help.
