I am looking for some advice regarding the suspension on my truck.

I have a 2015 DCLB with OEM shocks and I am looking for replacement shocks to support the added weight of an ARB bumper.

Ideally I would use 3rd gen take-offs but availability seems to be few and far between.

I'm not interested in lifting my truck and have very minimal offroad usage.

What would be the closest commercially available option to provide support for the additional weight without breaking the bank?

    Thanks in advance!

If you don't wheel the truck ditch the ARB bumper. To do it right with the added weight you need coils and shocks.

Are you talking about the front bumper I’m assuming? For the rear you would need a medium to heavy duty leaf pack

for the front the strut or shock doesn’t really matter it’s the spring you need I think the stock spring is 600lbs so you’ll need 650 or 700 lb

I have the ARB because I live in a rural area with a very high deer population.

Dual battery.
Then a 650 or 700 lb coil. I would suggest adjustable to level the truck

    Yes, it's the front bumper.

Bilstein 5100s paired with an appropriate spring weight (650/700#) or the OME nitrochargers with a similarly weighted spring are probably the most cost effective but quality options.

You and me both. After a deer did this to my Taco I had the body shop install an arb, never again….9C299172-8204-40A7-B56D-0DB10BBAAADB.jpg
I have a 3rd Gen sport suspension on my truck and they are handling the extra weight of the arb remarkably well, but I will be upgrading my coil overs in the near future and when I do I’m going with bilstein 6112s w/ 650 rated springs.

I found this on the 6112 thread, it might help you with picking and choosing springs relative to the weight of the arb.

    Bilstein 6112 Coil Part Numbers

Bilstein E4-FD1-Z005B50 – 600 Pound (Standard Spring that Comes with).

    Bilstein E4-FD1-Z562B00 – 650 Pound (Black) (80-140 Pounds Extra) Part# 53-291387

    Bilstein E4-FD1-Y005B46 - 700 Pound (Black) (150-200 Pounds Extra)

    Eibach WOR3X14Xx650 – 650 Pound (Black)

    Eibach 1400-300-0650s-X2 – 650 Pound (Silver)

    Eibach 1400-300-0700s-X2 – 700 Pound (Silver)

Shocks alone wont help. As others are saying, if you add weight to the front, you need to change the springs as well as the shocks to compensate for the added weight!
