Weird grinding noise when driving above 40MPH

    3.5 RC lift, 31" - 265/70R17, MOD Headlights and Taillights
    Hey guys,

    I recently started noticing that when I drive upwards of 40MPH or beyond, I notice a weird rumble noise, almost like metal grinding, when I release the throttle at said speeds. I can only assume that it is an exposed CV axle that I have and will fix, but any other ideas? has anyone had this issue in the past?

    Any vibrations in the seat?

    Check the Universal Joints and Center Bearing.
