I have a 4 cyl 2017 SR. Went out to start it today and it barely got any power. I noticed that the check engine light was on so I ran the OBD codes. I got the following errors:

    P0121
    P0123
    P0222
    P2135

Went online and saw this is often due to throttle position sensor issues, so I tried to find a part online. Couldn't find any replacement sensors for this make, which seemed weird. So I found a video of someone replacing the TPS on a 2nd gen model and then tried to locate it on mine. I didn't find it. What I did find, however, was an entire cable bundle coming out from below the air cover to the throttle (I think?) that had been severed. My best guess is its the cable bundle coming off the electronic throttle body control clip, but I'm new to this and dont know. Im assuming the massive bundle of severed cords is whats causing my error codes. I'm including pics of the error codes and the severed cable. Can anyone tell me what it is thats been cut? Bonus points if you can point me in the direction of the part number I need for a replacement. Also, is there a TPS on the 2017?

    Thanks for the help!

    Can you reconnect the wires?

also might have a rodent problem. I’m not sure how else that would happen

The TPS is built into the electric throttle body. That is your throttle body connector.

You need that repaired professionally. The dealers have the pins and ability to repair it properly.

Also, when booking into a shop, don't ask for diagnostics, ask for them to repair the harness, that way its quoted and repaired, no need for them to run diagnostics when you figured it out.

Damn, hopefully no more rodent damage, it can get very costly.
Was there any recent under the hood work done?

Awesome, thanks Merling and Bishop! And no, Chew, no work done on it in the last four or five months. There's a major squirrel problem outside my place, it was probably one of them.

Look on rock auto.com. I think you can find a pinned connector on there with a length of wire sticking out. Just note the color and the order and solder away.
I could do it. Where are you located? Maybe there is a capable member close to you.

Thanks for the offer @Taco y mas. I'm in Denver. I bought a pigtail connector like the one @ShirtTucker
mentioned and I'm going to try and give it a go. I can't solder for shit, so I'm going to try and do a Western Union splice on each cable and seal it with marine heat shrink tubing. Maybe that's a bad idea?

Those self-soldering heat shrink connectors work great. We didn't solder a single wire when we stuffed the LS in my son's square body back in March.

Soldering is a pretty easy, inexpensive and useful skill to learn.

Get some wire of similar gauge to the ones you need to repair and spend 15 minutes practicing.

You can watch yourself get better as you go.

I'd defiantly solder these and practice first!
You might be able to find someone locally that can do it for not much more than what it will cost you to buy a soldering iron and components,,, not that they are that expensive.
