Basically it’s a coverage issue. The factory is putting just enough base coat on to get them down the line and you end up seeing the primer underneath. That’s what mottle is usually. A shop will (or should be) checking coverage before clear, which makes it much more even looking.

Yea it was, as long as you didn't mind driving an hour to anything remotely resembling civilization lol. At least I had a Price Chopper within 15 min, but going to University Mall or Home Depot/Lowes, off to Burlington I went. Between that, the taxes and cost of living, and getting buried in snow, I went south and didn't stop till I got to south Florida

Thanks. The wheels are Stealth Custom Series F5's with Falken Wildpeaks at3 265/75/16. The lift is Bilstein 5100 with AAL. May upgrade to OME set up eventually.

Question:...is the ride about the same as stock?...im on the fence about the 5100 and then being able to get rims or spend a little more on the fox and keep my factory rims...your truck looks great!

 

They ride a little better but wished I spent a little more money and got the OME’s. Thanks

 

I have 5100s F/R, and it is a little better than stock. Although I wouldn't mind upgrading to OME springs as well. Maybe in the future.

 

Every time i look at this thread it costs me! I need to get some rims and tires!
