Got my truck aligned last week, and it was kind of a hassle to get the numbers where they sit right now. Im at 3.5° of caster, and at full lock im centimeters from the body mount, and i rub a little bit when going in reverse. I know that once i go off road im gonna probably rub a lot more on the body mount unless i get a cmc. If i go to another shop and try to get them to adjust my caster from 3.5 to around 4+° of caster how much more clearance off the body mount will that actually get me? Am i better off just doing the cab mount chop, getting higher caster numbers, or both?
    Im running around 3" eibach pro 2.0 lift, OME UCA, and a 285/70-17 tire on 17-8.5 -10 offset wheels20230607_182954.jpg 20230608_124543.jpg 20230608_124520.jpg

Are your ACA adjustable. Push caster all the way forward if so.

My uca? My uca have added caster built in. And my alignment cams dont look like they are maxed out. Im just curious how much more clearance i would get with an extra 1/2° of caster

Adding more caster with the UCA won’t give you anymore clearance . Max out the lower Control arms first then adjust uppers to get where you want the numbers to be . Basically you want the front of the arm in and the back of the arm out.

Yea, my uca aren't adjustable, but i know it has more caster built in. It looks like my alignment cams aren't maxed out so i imagine i can get to 4° and get a little more clearance away from the body mount. Im probably gonna end up getting a cmc jist for more clearance

When UCA have caster built in without adjustment, you actually lose clearance.
