Power Brakes Stopped Working

Hey Guys:

My dependable old Tacoma (295K and going strong) is giving me some brake issues.

Just put in a new alternator last night. Power brakes worked before but not after the install. Really weird that it's a sudden change rather than gradual deterioration like you might experience when parts are needed.

If you mash them hard manually it will eventually stop but clearly not getting any assist from engine.

Thought maybe serpentine belt was installed wrong but verified it's fine.

Looking forward to everyone's thoughts -- hopefully something simple and obvious.

Is the vacuum hose hooked up to the booster?
