It's 5 a.m. Do you know where your chickens/children are? I was up before the chickens, but not before the cat. A great week so far: I picked up two Hank the CowDog books from the boxes that the library's picking up to day from a cleaned-out 5th grade teacher's classroom (She's moving to a middle school next year.) and Custodian Bob and I called it a day at 1:30 yesterday, so I drove home just in time to see the UPS truck pull out of the side street and follow me through the next turn. I parked in front of the garage as he stopped at the foot of the stairs, met him as his feet hit the sidewalk, and asked, "Got some shock absorbers for me? 201." So he delivered the Bilstein 4600s without having to haul them up the stairs. That was a happy Win-Win!

Indeed ... went to Anchorage for annual "gear I need/want for shtuff I wanna do this Summer" trip. That'll do me for another year, too much "society" ... my timing was off, came back in afternoon commute ... I'm again impressed with the adaptive cruise control; coulda used this back when I was grinding the day shifts on active duty.
