2" level, cosmetic changes including rear seat K9 set -up, de-badged and chrome blacked out. Forerunner TRD 17" wheels with Nitto Terra Grappler G2 265/70 R17 tires. After market Rapter style grille.
Sorry if this question has been asked before.
I have a 2015 TRD Offroad with a 2" leveling lift. I have been happily running LT 265 75R16 Nitto Terra Grabbers on my original wheels for the past 35,000 miles. Dry rot has taken its toll before wear so would like to change the look with new wheels and tires and maybe gain a little height in the process ... but when I started my search I have been overwhelmed with terms and specs. I considered entering MIT to get an engineering degree but then decided to reach out here for HELP. I like the Toyota 4 Runner ‎#38522 wheels but got lost in offsets and what the pros and cons of going from 16" to 17" rims. Can someone give me plain English direction?

17 inch you’ll have more tire choices, 16 inch you’ll have a bit more rubber on the sidewall if you off-road.
An offset around 0 makes fitting tires easier if you upsize your tires.
-10 offset if you want some tire poke out the wheelwell.

@wrkgk9s @DavesTaco68 is absolutely correct on the 17inch having more choices. Many forum members go with 265/65R-17 with no lift or 265/70R-17 for a little taller tire. There are other options in wheels that mirror the TRD and accommodate the same center cap. DX4 Terrain and Replica Pro. It's good to have options.
