Hey guys, my Tacoma head unit is acting funky my audio sometimes wont play at all and other times it’ll stay on for a bit and go in and out. Any solutions? I tried to update the software from the truck itself but it doesn’t give me the option to.

Did you perform a radio reset? Sometimes it will fix minor issues. I’ve had to perform it a few times on my 2022 for different issues and it generally works.

I hold the volume button down until the screen goes black on my 2022 but your might be different. Here’s what I found for 2017. It’s worth a shot.
