Great score for $80. If you hate the first pour, put me first in line to take it off your hands :). Don’t have an open bottle currently…

I got a call from the Class-Six at Eglin today. They finally have the bottle of Buffalo Trace I requested in March of '22. I don't know their distribution network functions, but it's incredibly hard to get BT through them.

MSRP is $60, but on secondary it's commonly a $300-$400 bottle. I consider anything around $200 reasonable considering the difficulty of locating it and depending on how price sensitive you are.

$80 is a home run for sure.

Good to know. Thanks. My connection is generally pretty solid, but I didn't know about this one.

Well, I made it about a month into my pledge to not buy anymore bottles. I was in Total Wine to get something else and wandered down the scotch isle. Shoulda known better. Campbeltown scotch is hard to find, and I've only seen/bought Springbank 10 twice. So when I saw this Kilkerran I had to get a bottle. Actually 2.

Your Weller 12 looks under appreciated back there in the shadows.

I'm hoping the other bottles in front will distract any potential burglar and they will be left alone.

I’ve had a few bottles of 1792 Full Proof through the years. This one seems exceptional. Cheers.

Big fan of Russel's 10 year so I was pretty happy when I stumbled across this guy yesterday at a state-set price.

Hadn’t posted in forever, work is doing their best to put me in an early grave. Found some good bourbon on my most recent trip to Illinois:

I have both A and B for this year. But i’ve yet to crack them open. Trying to get a few bottles cleared to make room in the cabinet for them, but I’m excited to give them a go! I have really enjoyed the Toasted Barrel bottle I picked up late last year!

ECBP has very much been an acquired taste for me. First bottle I opened, seemed like the heat overcame the flavor. I left half the bottle with my brother in law. This batch I’m enjoying. I’ve got a toasted somewhere and I’m looking forward to that one…when it comes in around here it gets snagged quickly.

Grabbed me a Peerless store pick Single Barrel Rye today. 115.something proof.

A little too much money for a bottle of BP Rye, but I've talked in here before about Peerless and what they're doing, so I sucked up the premium because that still applies.

Also, this one was barreled in 2016, meaning it's gotta have at least 5, possibly 6 or 7, years on it which is plenty respectable for Rye.
