I'll be doing the Delaware Fort tour again...I went last week with my wife and friends.
$12 Ferry ride & entrance to Fort Delaware State Park & Pea Patch Island
Ferry departs every 30 minutes

I'm departing Dover and taking the scenic route @Dream Weaver suggested: Route 9 at about 9am...should put me in Delaware City by 10am.

Already saw the cannon firing at noon so I won't be late for the 1pm RSVP.

 

Looking at the weather for this weekend...it will be a Game Day decision on the Delaware Fort Tour.

 

Update:

I found my OEM mud flaps that were removed when my Bushwacker Fendys were installed--will bring those to the Meet if anyone is interested in buying them.

Also bringing the OEM Headlights removed when I installed LED Headlights--if anyone is interested in purchasing those.

Also bringing Air Dam and thin metal skid plate which anyone can take off my hands for free. lol

Is anyone planning on getting to the restaurant early (before 1pm) to hangout around the trucks, chat, etc.?

I have had some family stuff come up so I can’t stay for the whole lunch as I originally planned but I can get there a bit early if other people will be there.

I’m still fairly positive I can make it, but that may change.

 

I'm uncertain about the fort visit, but I was gonna be in the area around noon. It's a - and this will revoke my mancard - it's a cute little area...small shops and stuff...

 

I have spent a lot of time in DE but I’ve actually never been to Delaware City, so that’s good to know.

And Ok cool, I won’t be able to stay for too long but I figure I’ll try to still come hang for a little bit at least.

 

Thanks for the update @Road_Warrior--I was going to show up around 10-ish but now probably more like 11am.

I could hang out if it's drizzling but a downpour would move me into Crabby Dicks which opens at 11am.

If anyone plans to do the Fort trip, the 12:30 ferry is for those visiting from NJ so you would not be back to port until about 1pm-ish for Crabby Dicks.

I don't mind late arrivals to the restaurant but not sure what the consensus is on that...

Either way, I'll be there with Honeycomb Grill that I need to hand-off to Eric @hyrule_trd to take back to Mike @Backdoc via TWexpress.

Yes, there are shops to visit there on the main street...which is called, "Clinton", btw.

Someone told me there's a street called "Lewinski" nearby...but I don't know if that's true.

 

If you bring camp chairs I can probably fit six of us sitting in the truck bed under the topperlift

I will keep you guys posted on what time I plan to get there. I’m thinking probably like a 12 or 12:30 arrival and maybe stay for an hour or so.
