Some people get joy from ownership. Some people get joy from doing. Cars, guns, whatever - same shit, different toy.

I'm not an ownership type and it doesn't sound like a lot of ya'll are either. Good.

My buddy is a BMW guy. He tells a story about taking delivery on one a while back. While he was there they had some super mondo 1 of 3 in North America, 1 of 10 globally or whatever, and everyone was drooling on it. The owner, a lady, rolled in to grab the keys and before she got in it she keyed the door. Cue everyone shitting themselves and she says, "There, now I don't have to be scared of parking it."

 

The ownership types definitely cringe at me

 

Fuck 'em. Every one I beat up, take out of the wrapper, or put heat through makes theirs "rarer".

Man, that Mazda (basically a 3.0 Ranger, 2001) just blew up another water pump and it took the serp belt with it this time. That's two brand new pumps in less than 1k miles. I really have no idea what the issue could be. Any thoughts?

My only guess is that something in the way you put the belt back on cause the pump to fail, but that's just a guess as I said.

Happy Father's Day guys!

First one for me. Got some schoolwork (2nd to last semester, thank fuck) to do then going to watch the F1 race and drink some beers and... dare I say it... attempt to relax.

 

Happy Father's day peeps. Come hone from camping later today. Have some more work to do to tye trailer before the next trip. It was a race Friday. I also learned there's such a thing as a female inverted fitting not just an NPT when i tried replacing my cracked and leaking propane pigtails. Also had to rewire the awning light as Bluetooth controller stopped working so I deleted that just to get some light.

 

Congrats to everyone who sprayed glue and made it stick day.
