These are the earliest pictures that I could find when I got her about 5 years ago. When I first got her she was in a little more rough shape than the pictures show.

After a decent amount of TLC and some cleaning up she's still currently running strong at 457,000 miles.

Decided to get a lift on her and went with 883 coils, a single add a leaf, and new shocks.

Other than snapping the U-bolts and having to grind off the center pin it was a pretty smooth process considering she's 20+ years old

I'm looking to get some bigger tires on her and would prefer 33x10.50's if I had it my way but I can only get E rated tires on my 16's I have now. Not sure whether I should go to 15's or 17's for a softer sidewall tire for a smoother ride. Also I'm afraid of rubbing on the front bumper with getting a taller tire so I'm also looking at getting a tubular bumper to solve that problem if need be.

If anyone has any suggestions or wisdom to lay on me, I'd love to hear it.

I like what you’ve done with the truck! I don’t think there’s anyway to reverse the order of your posts, if that’s what you’re asking. In my build thread, I just post updated pics in the first post as I go along.

As for the tires…idk if it helps your decision at all but I have E rated tires and I’ve been running them for a little over 30K miles. I love ‘em and I do a ton of highway driving. I have the General Grabber ATXs which are a 6 ply tire instead of the traditional 10 ply so I’m sure that helps with ride quality.
