    I have the leather seats with soft gel or something like that and they are easily the most uncomfortable seats I've ever had. I have tried every cushion on the market and anything else I've seen. Does anyone have any thoughts on how to make them more comfortable or where I can get replacements? My back is mainly what hurts due to the seats. Thanks,

    Have never been a fan of gel-anything, to include shoe insoles....even soft top matress covers....all uncomfortable to me.

    I solved my lower back discomfort by swapping out the factory cloth for Katzkin leather. A tremendous improvement in support. Added seat heaters at that time. Totally worth it.

    Have you looked into removing the gel inserts, and replacing with foam? If just the bottom part, it's not that difficult.

    Perhaps trying some risers to elevate the front for more lumbar support.

    Long teips i sometimes wedge a travel pillow in the small of my back, thinking of getting the risers now that i have a car seat behind me and i cant push the seat all the way back.
    My wife in anybcar uses 2-3 "butt pillows" as we call them. Shes like the princess and the pea on trips over 2hr

    Seat jackers are also an option. Could be the angle of the seat hurting your back.

    Might sound silly, but I mean this genuinely. If the seats hurt your back that badly, I would look into a different vehicle. Make sure to do your homework on the right fit, but you shouldn’t be that uncomfortable while driving.

    Like @Just_A_Guy mentioned, there are risers that lift the front and/or rear of your seat where it bolts into the truck to change the angle. This seems to work for many people.

    @cgtexas How tall are you?

    I am 5'9" and have seat jackers installed currently. I think they did help me but not as much as I had hoped.

    Always seemed odd that the 4runner and Taco have very similar interior dimensions but the 4runner has massively better seats in comparison. Taco seats are NOT meant for long drives. Killed my back too.
