I'll be in Boulder Jct. the week before with the wife and grand-daughters. I'd like to play but I have to find out what the grand-daughters schedule is and if they even want to try off-roading.

That's the weekend I'm having the new shoes installed. If all goes well I might be able to break them in over there. Just have to check in with the event coordinator and see what her work schedule looks like as well. I already requested off that 28th for the trip to Discount Tire. Camping is included so I might even go a day early.

Anyone have a local shop for their alignments in SE WI? @rubbersidedown I know you mentioned one when you had your suspension dialed in, but if I remember it was a two trip experience?

    Hey forums friends,

Can anyone recommend me some fun camping and outdoor spots to check out in Minnesota?? I was originally scheduled to drive out to the Badlands National Park next week, but now I have a couple of friends that are complaining that it's too far of a drive from Wisconsin.

AKA I need new friends.

I have a buddy at the local Tires Plus. I generally get the lifetime alignment deal because it pays for itself in a couple trips. After I got my lift installed I had the alignment done and then again after it settled down. The last time my guy wasn't there and I wasn't completely sure they got things dialed in correctly but it's been riding alright. I'll probably go again after the Tigerton trip and before I drive down to Tennessee in August.

There are a couple of good spots in Wisconsin. Some of them are harder to find than others. We do group camping and trail runs four or five times a year. I'm adding a link to our event thread. Come on out and hang out with us sometime!

Lol! The place definitely sounds interesting. It would be nice to get there even for a day just to check it out. If there is camping, or camping nearby, this could be an alternate location for the trip next June, since the Pipeline will still be out of commission, allegedly.

I’d love to see the place but I doubt my stock trail limo would be up to the challenge there.

Looks like there are go arounds for all the hard stuff. That was my concern too, but his jeep is an old POS on 33's and he said it was fine.

You can take them mall crawling at Mall of America in Minneapolis... they won't let you camp there though.

The TWAT around Wyalusing State Park might be something to consider. There was some discussion about the area in the 'events' thread. Found a post with the map in GAIA GPS.

I actually have to applaud your restraint of keeping it stock, you're an oak.

...I'm sure the accounting department (wife) has helped too though.

I had to look that up as I wasn't familiar with it. Wow, that sounds like it would be fun. Sadly I'll be in TN 2 weeks before that. I'm taking mom and the family down to Dollywood  and I'm planning to check out Great Smoky Mountain National Park if I can get away. I thought about hitting Windrock, but I just don't think it's going to work out.

ATR is the perfect excuse to hit Windrock with yours truly :D
