New to this world...

We went as long as we could as a 1 car family and my wife has been begging for a truck, so we bought a 2023 SR5 Barcelona Red last week. Haven't had time to get good pictures of it yet because the weather in North Texas has been insane with 4 different nights of sitting at work scared to death of the looming golf ball to DVD sized hail threats.

Unfortunately the truck will mostly be my wife's. I'll get to drive it on the weekends and for family adventures at least. She's definitely going to end up being more of a "parking lot princess", as we're not the offroading type family.

I'll be posting in the Buy/Sell/Trade section at some point to see if anyone has any black rims that they'd like to trade for our stock charcoal gray ones on it now. Our SR5 came with the "black out package" that upgraded the stock tires to Goodyear Wrangler Duratrac 255/70/16. We don't need the beefier off-road tire so they'd be included in the swap.

2WD the most off-road we get is the gravel parking lot at the flea market

....kinda embarrassing to most of ya'll on here i know.

 

Naw dude if you don't need it fuck it trucks a truck and you made a good choice.

 

I'm from the mildly lowered Chevy Silverado world, unfortunately kids forced me to get a replace my subwoofer box with car seats
