I saw the high up there in Fargo for today on the news last night and immediately thought, “Wasn’t @Fargo Taco in the sub teens just a few months ago? Those poor bastards..”

The problem is your weather typically drifts over my way in a day or so..

Yes! I was blown away to find it on clearance - then I saw the price! :woot:

Funny how the smaller things in life seem so exciting -- or I'm just really boring... ;)

I’m finding for every year older I get, the bar for excitement gets a notch lower :anonymous:

    It sounds kind of silly:

One of the features about the truck that pleases me the most is the one touch up/down windows on both sides.

I kind of giggle every time I hit the button. :notsure:

Need a tool, make a tool. Its nothing compared to what the machinists in this thread are making, but not bad for a die grinder and a welder.

1 3/16 deepwell split open o2 socket style and coaxed to accept a 31mm nut. Finished with another socket to achieve needed depth.

Worked like a charm for the thru hull sensor I was removing 20230620_164429.jpg

I have not experienced weather with the units yet. Line of site is an issue. I had to put a unit 20’+ away from a building even though sky direction was parallel. I’m trying to recall, but I want to say the run was 60’ on new. I can look that up and ask other regions. I suspect not much different than prior sat, since the dish isn’t much different size wise. They also don’t have much mounting options since they’ve done the whole proprietary thing.

    Nice machines!
The suspension system is supposed to be the best on the market from what I read.

Old truckers never die… the just get a new Peterbuilt.

That was my Grandfather’s favorite saying and bumpersticker. Knew the bulldog from a young one. Interesting story on the company/brand early on.
